The Legal Issue

This site and everything listed on it is completely legal and violates no US or international laws (according to our attorneys). Because there are no lies, mis-truths, or half-truths this site does not in any way constitute liable. Because this site in no way makes money, and is technically based upon providing information, nothing here could possibly be considered to be copyright infringement. However this is now the fourth server that this web site has been hosted on. The owner of the company selling the private labeled Haven line of spas continually states that this site has done nothing but help him sell more spas. Yet he has gone to great lengths to have it removed from three other "free web hosts".

The Erik Saga, is simply an exact copy of the emails that went back and forth between the two. Nothing to our knowledge, has been changed in them. Nor have there ever been any suggestions that they have been altered. Since they do not contain any type of confidentiality statement, and were given to this web site for posting by one of the participants, they are simply documentation of an occurrence and perfectly legal for the world to read.

The General Complaints page contains exact copies of postings on public internet message boards. Nothing is illegal about copying form there (unless there is a copyright notice).

The seller on the Haven line of spas has made a few comments regarding this web site:

"It has appeared on four servers total. The others all shut down the site after they realized what was going on. Not one of the servers wanted us to come and seize all their servers for illegal activities. We are close to doing that with the Lycos folks."

The truth is that the servers this site was removed from, simply didn't want to bother dealing with the issue. They're FREE remember? From their point of view it's easier and cheaper for them to just remove the site, rather than even answer the telephone. Perhaps Lycos believe more in the rights of the people and the US constitution's right to free speech.
